DECLARING 1969 AS AGRICULTURAL COOPERATIVE DEVELOPMENT YEAR.

WHEREAS, in the economic development of the country today, there is need for greater participation of our farmers in the sharing of benefits of increased production through agricultural cooperatives that effectively assist in the dissemination of applied technology, processing and the profitable marketing of farmers’ produce and otherwise providing other services to farmers;

WHEREAS, through development of sound agricultural cooperatives, our own economic growth can be accelerated to promote the general welfare of the nation;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby proclaim 1969 as Agricultural Cooperative Development Year.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
