MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 514, January 21, 1969 ] DECLARING THURSDAY, JANUARY 23, 1969, AS SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BULACAN. In commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the First Philippine Republic formally organized in Malolos, Bulacan, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of authority vested in me by Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Thursday, January 23, 1969, as a special public holiday in the Province of Bulacan.
