[ Proclamation No. 503, December 19, 1968 ]

AUTHORIZING THE PHILIPPINE FEDERATION OF PRIVATE MEDICAL PRACTITIONEES TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL AND FUND CAMPAIGN DURING THE PERIOD FROM JANUARY 1 TO MARCH 31, 1969.

WHEREAS, the Philippine Federation of Private Medical Practitioners is authorized under Republic Act No. 3349 to establish a Geriatrics Center for the rehabilitation and care of the aged; and

WHEREAS, the Federation needs the necessary funds to augment the one half contribution of the National Government as authorized under said Act of the expenses for the operation and maintenance of the center and other geriatric pilot projects as the Federation may establish;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby authorize the Philippine Federation of Private Medical Practitioners to conduct a national educational and fund campaign during the period from January 1 to March 31, 1968. I call upon all citizens and residents of the Philippines, irrespective of nationality or creed, to assist in this drive in order that we may be able to help the Federation its objectives.
