[ Proclamation No. 492, December 16, 1968 ]

DECLARING THE PORTION OF HIGHWAY 17 FROM ZAPOTE, BACOOR, CAVITE TO TAGAYTAY CITY AS THE GENERAL EMILIO AGUINALDO HIGHWAY.

WHEREAS, the period from January 1 to December 31, 1969, was declared as General Emilio Aguinaldo Centennial Year under Proclamation No. 410 dated June 11, 1968; and

WHEREAS, there is a need to fittingly honor and perpetuate the memory of General Aguinaldo, whose acts and deeds in behalf of our country and people deserve recognition.1aшphi1

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the portion of highway 17 from Zapote, Bacoor, Cavite to Tagaytay City as the General Emilio Aguinaldo Highway.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
