AUTHORIZING THE CIVIC ASSEMBLY OF WOMEN OF THE PHILIPPINES AND ITS AFFILIATES TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL AND FUND CAMPAIGN FROM JANUARY 31 TO MARCH 15, 1969.

WHEREAS, the Civic assembly of Women of the Philippines is the national coordinator of women organizations all over the country in all activities where women participation is called upon both by government and private sectors;

WHEREAS, there is a need for the raising of funds to assist the affiliates of the Civic Assembly of Women of the Philippines which need financial help; and

WHEREAS, on January 31, 1969, the first anniversary of the approval of the Magna Charta of Rights of Women will be celebrated all over the country;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Civic Assembly of Women of the Philippines and its affiliates to conduct a national educational and fund campaign from January 31 to March 15, 1969. I call upon all citizens and residents of the Philippines to assist in this campaign by giving generously of their means so that the Civic Assembly of Women of the Philippines and its affiliates may continue to pursue their noble objectives
