[ Proclamation No. 476, October 18, 1968 ]

TRANSFERRING TEACHERS DAY FROM THE LAST FRIDAY OF JANUARY TO THE SECOND FRIDAY OF SEPTEMBER OF EACH YEAR.

By virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 140 dated January 26, 1967, which declared Friday, January 27, 1967, and every last Friday of January of each year as Teacher’s Day, by transferring said Day to the second Friday of September of each year.
