[ Proclamation No. 468, September 23, 1968 ]

DECLARING SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 1968, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF CAMARINES NORTE.

WHEREAS, the late Wenceslao Q. Vinzons, former Delegate to the Constitutional Convention, former Governor and Representative of Camarines Norte, was one of our outstanding heroes in the last war; and

WHEREAS, the people of Camarines Norte should be given full opportunity to celebrate Vinzon’s birthday anniversary on September 28, 1968, with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Saturday, September 28, 1968, as a special public holiday in the province of Camarines Norte.
