[ Proclamation No. 453, August 27, 1968 ]

DECLARING SEPTEMBER 3, 1968, AS THE DATE FOR THE FORMAL ORGANIZATION OF THE CITY OF IRIGA.

WHEREAS, Republic Act. No. 5261 approved on June 15, 1968, created the City of Iriga; and

WHEREAS, Section 95 for the said Act provides that the City of Iriga shall be organized on such date as may be fixed by the President of the Philippines;

NOW, THEREFORE, I FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, pursuant to the provisions of Section 96 of Republic Act No. 5261 do hereby proclaim that the formal organization of the City of Iriga shall take place on September 3, 1968.
