[ Proclamation No. 445, August 8, 1968 ]

DECLARING FRIDAY, AUGUST 16, 1968, A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN PASAY CITY.

WHEREAS, the twenty-first anniversary of the charter of Pasay City falls on August 16, 1968; and

WHEREAS, the people of said city should be given full opportunity to celebrate this historic event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Friday, August 16, 1968, as a special public holiday in Pasay City.
