DECLARING MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 1968, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN BAGUIO CITY.
WHEREAS, September 1, 1968, marks the fifty-ninth anniversary of the charter of Baguio City, the summer capital of the Philippines;
WHEREAS, the residents should be afforded an opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their City’s history; and
WHEREAS, September 1 this year falls on a Sunday hence, the necessity of declaring the following day a special public holiday to enable city officials and employees to participate in the projected ceremonies;
NOW, THEREFORE, I FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Monday, September 2, 1968 as, special public holiday in Baguio City.1aшphi1
