DECLARING FRIDAY, AUGUST 9, 1968 AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE AND CITY OF LAOAG.

WHEREAS, the ninth day of August is the birthday of the late Governor Rogue B. Ablan, at outstanding resistance leader of the occupational; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of Ilocos Norte, his birthplace, be given full opportunity to celebrate his birthday;

NOW, THEREFORE, I FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Friday, August 9, 1968 as a special public holiday in the province of Ilocos Norte and City of Laoag.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippine to be affixed.
