DESIGNATING THE PERIOD FROM AUGUST 15 TO NOVEMBER 15 FOR THE 1968 NATIONAL MEMBERSHIP AND EDUCATIONAL CAMPAIGN OF THE PHILIPPINE MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION, INC. (PMHA)

WHEREAS, the poor mental health of some of our people has contributed considerably to the rising tide of criminality and youth delinquency in our country;

WHEREAS, good mental health is essential in handling people to adjust to existing situations and to do their share in the common task of nation building;

WHEREAS, the Philippine Mental Health Association, Inc. has demonstrated the value and importance of its services in the promotion of good mental health and in the preventive, curative and rehabilitative aspects of mental illness; and

WHEREAS, the more members are enrolled in the movement, the greater and the wider the outreach of its educational campaign for good mental health;

NOW, THEREFORE, I FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, hereby designate the period from August 15 to November 15 1968, as the period for the 1968 National Membership and Educational Campaign of the Philippine Mental Health Association. I call upon all government officials, employees, citizens and residents to assist in this campaign and to give it their wholehearted support.1aшphi1
