[ Proclamation No. 410, June 11, 1968 ]

DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM JANUARY 1 TO DECEMBER 31, 1969 AS GENERAL EMILIO AGUINALDO CENTENNIAL YEAR AND AUTHORIZING THE AGUINALDO CENTENNIAL COMMISSION TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN.

WHEREAS, the Aguinaldo Centennial Commission was created under Executive Order No. 92 dated October 23, 1967, to take charge of the celebration of the centennial of General Emilio Aguinaldo and to build a fitting monument to perpetuate the memory of the President of the First Philippine Republic; and

WHEREAS, the Commission need the support of all freedom loving Filipinos;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from January 1 to December 31, 1969 as General Emilio Aguinaldo Centennial Year and authorize the Aguinaldo Centennial Commission to conduct a national fund campaign for the above purposes from June 12, 1968 to June 12, 1969.1aшphi1
