MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 392, May 6, 1968 ] DESIGNATING THE PERIOD FROM JUNE 1 TO AUGUST 15, 1968, FOR THE TWENTIETH ANNUAL EDUCATIONAL AND FUND CAMPAIGN OF THE COMMUNITY CHEST. To enable the Community Chest to carry on its community welfare services, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby designate the period from June 1 to August 15, 1968, for its twentieth annual educational and fund campaign. I call upon all residents, firms and organizations especially in the City of Manila, Quezon City, Pasay City, Caloocan City and municipalities of Makati, Malabon, Mandaluyong, Navotas, Parañaque and San Juan, Province of Rizal, to support this campaign and to give generously to the Community Chest which unites into one annual appeal the 34 fund campaigns of the following welfare agencies: Abiertas House of Friendship American Philippine Guardian Asociacion de Depas Filipinas Settlement House Asilo de San Vicente de Paul Catholic Youth Organization Free Legal Aid Clinic St. Joseph’s Patronage of the Sick St. Philomena’s Patronage of the Sick Poor Patronate de Nuestra Sra. de Lourdes Patronato de Santa Luisa de Marillac Girl Scouts of the Philippines Quezon City Girl Scouts Council Pasay Girl Scout’s Council Manila Girl Scout’s Council Rizal Girl Scout’s Council Caloocan City Girl Scouts Council Good Shepherd Convent Heart of Mary Villa La Proteccion de la Infancia Manila Children’s Hospital Cota de Leche National Federation of Women’s Club Nursery Classes Philippine Association of the Deaf Philippine Band of Mercy Philippine Agency for Community and Family YMCA of the Philippines Manila YMCA Downtown YMCA Quezon City YMCA YWCA of the Philippines Manila YWCA General Assembly of the Blind Family Life Workshop of the Philippines Young Christian Workers I authorize and urge all government officials and employees including all school authorities and techers, to accept, for the Community Chest, fund-raising responsibilities and to give full support and dedicated leadership in their respective communities.1aшphi1 IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
