[ Proclamation No. 381, April 14, 1968 ]

DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM APRIL 22 TO 28 OF EVERY YEAR AS “RURAL BROADCAST WEEK”.

WHEREAS, the Government’s five-year socio-economic development program envisages increased agricultural production to bring about more abundant supply of food, increase the income of our farmers, and improve the national standard of living;

WHEREAS, all government offices concerned have been called upon to disseminate the wealth of information in modern agricultural techniques to farmers to make the program effective; and

WHEREAS, the Rural Broadcasters Council has pledged to cooperate in educating our farmers in modern agricultural knowledge through its chain of radio networks throughout the country; which cooperation deserves due recognition;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from April 22 to 28, of every year as Rural Broadcasting Week.1aшphi1
