[ Proclamation No. 375, April 1, 1968 ]

DECLARING TUESDAY, APRIL 2, 1968, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BULACAN.

WHEREAS, the second day of April is the birthday of Francisco Balagtas, Prince of Filipino poets; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper to give the residents of the Province of Bulacan, his birthplace, an ample time to celebrate the event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Tuesday, April 2, 1968, as a special public holiday in the Province of Bulacan.
