DECLARING TUESDAY, APRIL 2, 1968, AS “FRANCISCO BALAGTAS DAY”.
WHEREAS, the second day of April is the birthday of Francisco Balagtas, Prince of Filipino poets; and
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper to render homage to the great Filipino poet;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Tuesday, April 2, 1968, as “Francisco Balagtas Day” in all Tagalog provinces and cities.
