DECLARING MARCH 18, 1968, AS “LIBERATION DAY” FOR THE ISLAND OF PANAY.

WHEREAS, March 18, 1968, marks the 23rd anniversary of the landing of American liberation forces on the island of Panay at Tigbauan Beach, Iloilo;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare March 10, 1968, as “Liberation Day” for the Island of Panay.
