[ Proclamation No. 330, January 3, 1968 ]

EXCLUDING FROM THE OPERATION OF PROCLAMATION NO. 251 DATED MAY 4, 1951, WHICH ESTABLISHED THE WORKINGMEN’S VILLAGE RESERVATION (BARRIO OBRERO) SITUATED IN THE CITY OF ILOILO, CERTAIN PORTIONS OF THE LAND EMBRACED THEREIN AND DECLARING THE SAME OPEN TO DISPOSITION UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE PUBLIC LAND ACT.

Upon the recommendations of Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the authority vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby exclude from the operation of Proclamation No. 251 dated May 4, 1951, which established the Workingmen’s Village Reservation (Barrio Obrero) situated in the City of Iloilo, certain portions of the land embraced therein and declare the same open to disposition under the provisions of the Public Land Act, which portions are more particularly described as follows, to wit:

Lot 1
(Proposed Socio-Educational Center)

A PARCEL OF LAND (the Proposed Socio-Educational Center, being a portion of Proclamation No. 251), situated in the Barrio of Obrero, Districit of Paz, City of Iloilo. Bounded on the NW., alone line 1-2 by a Road; on the NE., along line 2-3 by a proposed road; on the SE., along line 3-4 by portion of Proclamation No. 251; and on the SW., along line 4-1 by land covered by Proclamation No. 233. Beginning at appoint marked “1” on plan being S. 49 deg. 12’ E., 1490.69 m. from B.B.M. 57, Iloilo Cadastre,

thence N. 38 deg. 00’E., 156.00 m. to point 2;

thence S. 52 deg. 00’E., 72.20 m. to point 3;

thence S. 38 deg. 00’W., 156.00 m. to point 4;

thence N. 52 deg. 00’E., 72.20 m. to point of beginning;

containing an area of ELEVEN THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED SICTY THREE (11, 263) Square Meters, more or less. All points referred to are marked on the ground; bearings true.

Bounded on the NW., alone line 1-2 by a Road; on the NE., along line 2-3 by a proposed road; on the SE., along line 3-4 by portion of Proclamation No. 251; and on the SW., along line 4-1 by land covered by Proclamation No. 233.
