[ Proclamation No. 321, December 29, 1967 ]

DECLARING TUESDAY, JANUARY 2, 1968, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCES OF COTABATO, LANAO DEL NORTE, LANAO DEL SUR AND SULU, AND IN THE CITIES OF BASILAN, COTABATO, ILIGAN AND MARAWI.

In connection with the Muslim Feast of Eid-El-Fitr, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, pursuant to the authority vested in me by Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Tuesday, January 2, 1968, as a special public holiday in the provinces of Cotabato, Lanao del Norte, Lanao del Sur and Sulu, and in the cities of Basilan, Cotabato, Iligan and Marawi.

Muslim officials and employees of the Government, both national and local, performing their duties and functions outside of the provinces and cities above stated, shall be exempted from duty during this feast day which, for purposes of this proclamation, shall be considered as a special public holiday for said officials and employees in their respective stations.
