AUTHORIZING THE RESEARCH FOUNDATION IN PHILIPPINE ANTHROPOLOGY AND ARCHEOLOGY, INC., TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN.

WHEREAS, the Research Foundation in Philippine Anthropology and Archeology is a non-profit organization dedicated to the propagation and preservation of Philippine culture, awards scholarships and fellowships, finances field research in anthropology and archeology, and sponsors various cultural projects;

WHEREAS, one of its projects this year, in cooperation with the Chinese government, is an exhibition of Chinese artifacts and porcelain found in the Philippines; and

WHEREAS, the Foundation needs the support of the public for its various cultural and historical projects;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Research Foundation in Philippine Anthropology and Archeology, Inc., to conduct a fund campaign from November 1, 1967, to January 31, 1968. I urge all residents to support the drive to ensure its success.
