EXTENDING THE PERIOD OF THE NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN OF THE NATIONAL SHRINES COMMISSION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF CORREGIDOR AND MT. SAMAT NATIONAL SHRINES TO DECEMBER 31, 1968.

WHEREAS, the National Shrines Commission was authorized under Proclamation No. 130 dated November 28, 1966, to conduct its fund campaign from December 31, 1966 to December 31, 1967 for the development of Mt. Samat National Shrine; and under Proclamation No. 131 dated November 28, 1966, to conduct a similar fund campaign from November 30, 1966 to November 30, 1967 for the development of Corregidor National Shrine; and

WHEREAS, the National Shrines Commission needs more time to realize its fund campaign goals to pursue its planned projects on Mt. Samat and Corregidor National Shrines;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby extend the period of the National Shrines Commission Fund Campaign up to December 31, 1968.
