DECLARING SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 1967, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN BAGO CITY.

WHEREAS, November 5, 1967, is an important date in the history of Bago City as it marks its liberation from Spanish rule under the leadership of General Juan Araneta in November 5, 1898; and

WHEREAS, the people of Bago City wish to celebrate this important event in their city’s history;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Sunday, November 5, 1967, as a special public holiday in Bago City.
