MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 300, October 25, 1967 ] DESIGNATING THE LAST DAY FOR FILING CERTIFICATES OF CANDIDACY IN THE NEWLY CONVERTED MUNICIPALITY OF SANTA FE, PROVINCE OF NUEVA VIZCAYA. WHEREAS, the Commission on Elections, through its Chairman, has notified the President of the Philippines that no certificate of candidacy for municipal offices was filed as of September 15, 1967, the last day for filing thereof, in the new converted municipality of Santa Fe, Province of Nueva Viscaya; NOW, THEREFORE, in order to give an opportunity to the inhabitants of the municipality affected to choose their own officials as required by law, and by virtue of the authority conferred upon me by Section 9 of the Revised Election Code (Rep. Act No. 180, as amended), I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby designate October 30, 1967, as the last day for filing certificate of candidacy for municipal offices in the above-named newly converted municipality. The provisions and requirements of the Revised Election Code shall be adhered to strictly in the filing of said certificates.1aшphi1 IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
