[ Proclamation No. 279, October 11, 1967 ]

DECLARING THURSDAY, OCTOBER 19, 1967, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF BACOLOD.

WHEREAS, the twenty-ninth anniversary of the organization of the City of Bacolod falls on October 19, 1967; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of said city be given full opportunity to celebrate the event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Thursday, October 19, 1967, as a special public holiday in the City of Bacolod.
