DECLARING MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 25, 1967, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN GUINOBATAN, ALBAY.

WHEREAS, Monday, September 25, 1967, marks the 64th anniversary of the surrender of General Simeon Ola, one of the last generals to surrender during the Filipino-American war; and

WHEREAS, the people of Guinobatan, Albay, should be afforded an opportunity to render homage to the honored General;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Monday, September 25, 1967, as a special public holiday in Guinobatan, Albay.
