DECLARING SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 1967, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN GUINOBATAN, ALBAY.

WHEREAS, Saturday, September 2, 1967, marks the 102nd birthday anniversary of General Simeon Ola y Arboleda, one of the last Filipinos to surrender during the Filipino-American war; and

WHEREAS, the people of Guinobatan, Albay, where he was born, should be afforded an opportunity to render homage to the honored general;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Saturday, September 2, 1967, as a Special public holiday in Guinobatan, Albay.
