DECLARING WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 23, 1967, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN CALOOCAN CITY.

WHEREAS, the 23rd day of August marks the seventy-first anniversary of the “Cry of Pugad Lawin”, a historic event in our struggle for freedom; and

WHEREAS, the people of Caloocan City where the event took place should be given ample opportunity to celebrate the event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, pursuant to the authority vested in me by Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Wednesday, August 23, 1967, as a special public holiday in Caloocan City.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
