[ Proclamation No. 245, August 11, 1967 ]

AUTHORIZING THE ORDER OF THE KNIGHTS OF RIZAL TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL AND FUND CAMPAIGN DURING THE PERIOD FROM SEPTEMBER 1 TO DECEMBER 31, 1967.

WHEREAS, the Order of the Knights of Rizal has for its noble and patriotic objectives the training and moulding of the Filipino Youth in character building, citizenship training, civic conscience, dedicated and democratic leadership, and enlightened nationalism;

WHEREAS, the Order of the Knights of Rizal has undertaken a patriotic and dynamic program to preserve and to propagate the ideals and teachings of Rizal; and

WHEREAS, in its desire to give meaning, substance and reality to its patriotic aims and purposes, the said organization needs financial assistance from all sectors of the country;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Order of the Knights of Rizal to conduct a national educational and fund campaign during the period from September 1 to December 31, 1967. I call upon all citizens and residents of the Philippines, irrespective of race and creed, to support the campaign.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
