[ Proclamation No. 239, August 1, 1967 ]

AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 662, SERIES OF 1934, WHICH RESERVED FOR CONSTABULARY PURPOSES A PARCEL OF LAND SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BONGAO, PROVINCE OF SULU, BY RESERVING THE SAME FOR MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT SITE PURPOSES.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the provisions of Section 83 and 88 of Commonwealth Act No. 141, as amended, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby amend Proclamation No. 662, series of 1934, which reserved for constabulary purposes a parcel of land of the public domain situated in the Municipality of Bongao, Province of Sulu, by reserving such portions thereof as may be needed by the Municipality of Bongao, subject to private rights, if any there be, and declaring the rest open to disposition under the provisions of the said Act.

To carry out the objective of this proclamation, the Director of Lands shall undertake the subdivision survey of the site, indicating in the plan of the subdivision the portions needed for municipal government purposes.1aшphi1
