NAMING THE BRIDGE AT NAGTAHAN STREET, CITY OF MANILA, AS MABINI BRIDGE.

WHEREAS, the construction of the new bridge at Nagtahan Street, City of Manila, is almost completed; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper to name the bridge in honor of the memory of one of our greatest patriots who lived in the vicinity thereof, and whose birthday anniversary celebration starts today;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby name the bridge at Nagtahan Street, City of Manila, as “Mabini Bridge” in memory of Apolinario Mabini, the “Sublime Paralytic”.
