[ Proclamation No. 229, July 10, 1967 ]

EXCLUDING FROM THE OPERATION OF PROCLAMATION NO. 271, DATED MARCH 6, 1956, WHICH RESERVED FOR PARK SITE PURPOSES, A CERTAIN PORTION OF LAND LOCATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PARANG, PROVINCE OF COTABATO, ISLAND OF MINDANAO, AND DECLARING THE SAME OPEN TO DISPOSITION UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE PUBLIC LAND ACT.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the authority vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby exclude from the operation of Proclamation No. 271, dated March 6, 1956, which reserved for municipal park site purposes, a certain portion of land located in the Municipality of Parang, Province of Cotabato, Island of Mindanao, and declare the same open to disposition under the provisions of the Public Land Act, which portion of land is more particularly described as follows:

(Municipal park site under the administration of the Municipality)

A PARCEL OF LAND (Lot 1353 of plan Ts-215 G.L.R.O. Rec. No._____), situated in the Poblacion, Municipality of Parang, Province of Cotabato. Bounded on the SW., along line 1-2, by Municipal Road; along line 2-3, by Residential Road; along line 3-4, by Residential Road; and along line 4-l, by Residential Road. Beginning at a point marked “1” on the attached sketch plan being N. 34 deg. 33' E., 202.42 m. from B.L.L.M. 4, Ts-215,

thence N. 43 deg. 06' W., 140.01 m. to point “2”;

thence N. 46 deg. 54' E., 152.40 m. to point “3”;

thence S. 43 deg. 06' E., 140.00 m. to point “4”;

thence S. 46 deg. 54' W., 152.40 m. to the point of

beginning, containing an area of TWENTY ONE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED AND THIRTY SIX (21,336) SQUARE METERS.1aшphi1

All points referred to are indicated on the plan and are marked on the ground by Old Corners; bearings true, date of survey, July 31, 1956.
