DECLARING MONDAY, JUNE 19, 1967, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN CALAMBA, LAGUNA.
WHEREAS, June 19, 1967; marks the one hundred sixth birthday of Jose Rizal, our national hero; and
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the residents of Calamba, Laguna, his birthplace, be given full opportunity to celebrate the day with appropriate ceremonies in keeping with his ideals and teachings;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Monday, June 19, 1967, as a special public holiday in Calamba, Laguna.
