[ Proclamation No. 205, May 27, 1967 ]

DECLARING THURSDAY, JUNE 1, 1967, AS MAKATI DAY AND A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN MAKATI, RIZAL.

WHEREAS, June 1, 1967, marks the anniversary of the founding of the Municipality of Makati, Rizal; and

WHEREAS, the residents of said municipality should be given opportunity to celebrate the event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Thursday, June 1, 1967, as Makati Day and a special public holiday in Makati, Rizal.
