RESERVING FOR MILITARY PURPOSES A PARCEL OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN PALAUI ISLAND, PROVINCE OF CAGAYAN

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the authority vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for military purposes, under the joint administration of the Chief of Staff, AFP and the Director of Forestry for use of the Philippine Navy, a certain parcel of land, containing an approximate area of Two thousand (2,000) hectares, subject to private rights, if any there be, and under the condition that the disposition commercial timber forest therein shall be under a Special Timber License issued by the Director of Forestry in accordance with forest laws and regulations and conditions to be set by the Philippine Navy, when and where the operations will not prejudice or interfere with the primary use of the area, which parcel of land is more particularly described as follows:

Bounded by the following points:

Points 1-2 N. 6° 30' E., 5,070 m.
1-3 N. 83° 30' E., 2,880 m.
3-4 Following Baratubot Creek downstream, S-E, N-E and S-E directions about 2,100 m.
4-5 Following the shoreline in S-easterly direction about 445 m.
5-6 S. 08° 00' W., 2,430 m.
6-7 S. 20° 30' W., 895 m.
7-8 S. 52° 00’W., 2,107 m.
8-1 S. 83° 00’W., 1,980 m.
