DECLARING THURSDAY, MARCH 2, 1967, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF CABATUAN, ILOILO.

WHEREAS, the seventy-sixth birthday of the late Tomas Confesor, stateman and outstanding resistance leader, falls on Thursday, March 2, 1967; and

WHEREAS, the people of Cabatuan, Iloilo, should be afforded an opportunity to celebrate his birthday with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, pursuant to the authority vested in me by Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Thursday, March 2, 1967, as a special public holiday in Cabatuan, Iloilo.
