DECLARING FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 1967, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF CEBU.

WHEREAS, Friday, February 24, 1967, marks the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Charter of the City of Cebu; and

WHEREAS, the people of the City of Cebu should be afforded an opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their City’s history with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Friday, February 24, 1967, as a special public holiday in the City of Cebu.
