MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 173, February 13, 1967 ] ESTABLISHING AS CENTRAL ZAMBOANGA FOREST RESERVE FOR WOOD PRODUCTION, WATERSHED, SOIL PROTECTION AND OTHER FOREST USES, THE PARCELS OF PUBLIC DOMAIN KNOWN AS TIMBERLAND, ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE LAND CLASSIFICATION PROJECT NOS. 17-I AND 24-I AND ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR LAND CLASSIFICATION PROJECT NO. 23-C, PER B.F. MAP L.C.-2500, SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF SIOCON AND LABASON, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE AND THE MUNICIPALITY OF IPIL, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR, PHILIPPINES. Pursuant to Section 1826 of the Revised Administrative Code, as amended by Republic Act No. 3092, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from entry, sale, settlement or other disposition and establish and proclaim as CENTRAL ZAMBOANGA FOREST RESERVE, subject to private rights, the parcels of public domain known as Timberland, Zamboanga del Norte Land Classification Project Nos. 17-I and 24-I and Zamboanga del Sur Land Classification Project No. 23-C, situated in the Municipalities of Siocon and Labason, Province of Zamboanga del Norte and the Municipality of Ipil, Province of Zamboanga del Sur, Philippines, demarcated and established under Forestry Administrative Order No. 4-1018, dated December 18, 1961, for wood production, watershed, soil protection and other forest purposes under the administration and control of the Director of Forestry who shall have the authority to regulate the use and occupancy of said Forest Reserve and the cutting, collection and removal of timber and other forest products therein in accordance with forest laws and regulations.1aшphi1 The aforementioned parcels of public domain are shown and more particularly described in the attached Bureau of Forestry Map L.C.-2500, comprising the Timber Lands of the aforementioned Zamboanga del Norte Land Classification Project Nos. 17-I and 24-I and Zamboanga del Sur Land Classification Project No. 23-C, containing an area of SEVENTY THREE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED FORTY EIGHT (73,548) HECTARES, more or less. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
