MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 172, February 13, 1967 ] ESTABLISHING THE CASILAYAN-ADGAWAN GUBAS FOREST RESERVE FOR GUBAS PLANTATION, WATERSHED, SOIL PROTECTION AND OTHER ALLIED FOREST USES, THE PARCELS OF PUBLIC DOMAIN KNOWN AS TIMBERLAND, AGUSAN LAND CLASSIFICATION PROJECT NOS. I-C, 19-M, 3-B, 23-B, 43-B, AND 44-B, PER B.F. MAP L.C.-2390 (3 SHEETS) SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF TALACOGON, AND ESPERANZA AND MUNICIPAL DISTRICTS OF LA PAZ, HALAPITAN, SAGUNTO AND COMOTA, PROVINCE OF AGUSAN, PHILIPPINES. Upon recommendation of the Director of Forestry, approved by the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources, and pursuant to the provisions of Section 1826 of the Revised Administrative Code, as amended by Republic Act No. 3092, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from entry, sale, settlement or other disposition and establish and proclaim as CASILAY-ADGAWAN GUBAS, FOREST RESERVE, subject to private rights, if any there be, the parcels of public domain known as Timberland, Agusan Land Classification Project Nos. I-C, 19-M, 3-B, and 23-B, 43-B, and 44-B, located in the Municipalities of Talacogon and Esperanza and Municipal Districts of La Paz, Halapitan, Sagunto and Comota, province of Agusan, demarcated and established under Forestry Administrative Order No. 4-1108, dated December 22, 1965, for Gubas Plantation, watershed, soil protection and other allied forest uses under the administration and control of the Director of Forestry who shall have the authority to regulate the use and occupancy of said Forest reserve and the cutting, collection and removal of timber and other forest products therein in accordance with forest laws and regulations.1aшphi1 The aforementioned parcels of public domain are shown and more particularly described in the attached Bureau of Forestry Map L.C.-2390 (3 sheets), comprising the Timberland of the aforementioned Agusan Land Classification Project Nos. I-C, 19-M, 3-B, 23-B, 43-B, and 44-B, containing an area of TWENTY THREE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED NINETY EIGHT (23,398) HECTARES, more or less. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
