RESERVING THE PLAZA MILITAR AREA IN FAVOR OF THE LAND AUTHORITY FOR SUBSEQUENT TITLING IN THE NAME OF THE LAND BANK OF THE PHILIPPINES UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED THREE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED FORTY-FOUR.
Upon recommendation of the Land Authority, after previous consultation with the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources, and pursuant to the provisions of Republic Act Numbered Three thousand eight hundred forty-four, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby reserve in favor of the Land Authority, subject to private rights, if any there be, two (2) parcels of land situated in the City of Manila and more particularly described as follows:
1. “A parcel of land situated in the District of Malate, City of Manila. Bounded on the NE, along line 1-2, by Calle M. H. del Pilar; on the SE, along line 2-3, by Lot 101-B-3 (Proposed Calle Military Ext.); on the SW, along line 3-4, by Lot 8, Block 501, Cavite Boulevard Cad.; and on the NW, along line 4-1, by Lot 101-B-1 (proposed Calle Herran Ext.) Beginning at a point marked 1 on the sketch plan, being 29° 08’W., 154.69 meters from F. H. 42, City of Manila; thence S. 25° 29’E., 138.00 meters to point 2; thence S. 66° 15’W., 78.80 meters to point 3; thence N. 26° 08’W., 139.46 meters to point 4; thence N. 67° 14’E., 80.39 meters to the point of beginning; containing an approximate area of 11,030 square meters.”
2. “A parcel of land (Lot 1, Block 502, Cavite Boulevard Cad.), situated in the District of Malate, City of Manila. Bounded on the NE., along line 1-2, by Calle A. Mabini; on the SE, along line 2-3, by Calle Militar; on the SW, along line 3-4, by Calle M. H. del Pilar; and on the NW, along line 4-1, by Calle Herran, containing an area of 12,739.30 square meters, more or less.”
The above parcels of land shall be titled in the name of and transferred to the Land Bank of the Philippines in accordance with Sections 51 (3), 51 (5) and 66 of Republic Act Numbered Three Thousand Eight Hundred Forty-Four.1aшphi1
Proclamation No. 809, dated December 21, 1961, reserving a portion of the Plaza Militar area for office building site of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, is hereby revoked.
