DECLARING WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 31, 1966, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN NOVELETA, CAVITE.

WHEREAS, August 31 is an important day in the history of Noveleta, Cavite, as it was on that day seventy years ago that its people rose in revolt against Spanish domination; and

WHEREAS, the residents of the municipality of Noveleta, Cavite, should be afforded an opportunity to celebrate the event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Wednesday, August 31, 1966, as a special public holiday in Noveleta, Cavite.
