MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 88, August 9, 1966 ] ESTABLISHING AS MANSALAY FOREST RESERVE FOR WOOD PRODUCTION, WATERSHED, SOIL PROTECTION AND OTHER FOREST USES, THE PARCELS OF PUBLIC DOMAIN KNOWN AS TIMBERLAND, MINDORO ORIENTAL LAND CLASSIFICATION PROJECT NOS. 2-F, 19-B AND 20-A, PER B.F. MAP L.C.-2227, SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF BONGABON, MANSALAY AND ROXAS, PROVINCE OF MINDORO ORIENTAL, PHILIPPINES. Upon recommendation of the Director of Forestry, approved by the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources, and pursuant to the provisions of Section 1826 of the Revised Administrative Code, as amended by Republic Act No. 3092, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from entry, sale, settlement or other disposition, and establish as MANSALAY FOREST RESERVE, subject to private rights, if any there be, the parcels of public domain known as Timberland, Mindoro Oriental Land Classification Project Nos. 2-F, 19-B, and 20-A, situated in the municipalities of Bongabon, Mansalay and Roxas, Province of Mindoro Oriental, demarcated and established under Forestry Administrative Order No. 4-745, dated September 26, 1958, for wood production, watershed, soil protection and other forest purposes under the administration and control of the Director of Forestry who shall have the authority to regulate the use and occupancy of said forest reserve and the cutting, collecting and removing of timber and other forest products therein in accordance with Forest Laws and Regulations. The aforementioned parcels of public domain are shown and more particularly described in the attached Bureau of Forestry Map L.C.-2227, comprising the Timberland of the aforementioned Mindoro Oriental Land Classification Project Nos. 2-F, 19-B and 20-A, containing an area of FIFTEEN THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED FIFTY FIVE, (15,255) HECTARES, more or less.
