MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 83, August 9, 1966 ] ESTABLISHING AS MOUNT SUGARLOAF FOREST RESERVE FOR WOOD PRODUCTION, WATERSHED, SOIL PROTECTION AND OTHER FOREST USES, THE PARCELS OF PUBLIC DOMAIN KNOWN AS TIMBERLAND, ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE LAND CLASSIFICATION PROJECT NOS. 16-I AND 26-D AND ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR, LAND CLASSIFICATION PROJECT NOS. 10-J, 13-M, 19-G, 21-P AND 27-I, PER B.F. MAP L.C.-2487 (5 SHEETS), SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF SINDANGAN AND MANUKAN, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE AND MUNICIPALITIES OF LABANGAN, MARGOSATUBIG, MALANGAS, PAGADIAN AND MOLAVE, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR, PHILIPPINES. Upon recommendation of the Director of Forestry, approved by the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the provisions of Section 1826 of the Revised Administrative Code, as amended by Republic Act No. 3092, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from entry, sale, settlement or other disposition and establish as MOUNT SUGARLOAF FOREST RESERVE, subject to private rights, if any there be, the parcels of public domain known as Timber Land, Zamboanga del Norte Land Classification Project Nos. 16-I and 26-D and Zamboanga del Sur, Land Classification Project Nos. 10-J, 13-M, 19-G, 21-P and 27-I, situated in the Municipalities of Sindangan and Manukan, Province of Zamboanga del Norte and Municipalities of Labangan, Margosatubig, Malangas, Pagadian and Molave, Province of Zamboanga del Sur, Philippines, demarcated and established under Forestry Administrative Order No. 4-1005, dated January 12, 1962, for wood production, watershed, soil protection and other forest purposes under the administration and control of the Director of Forestry who shall have the authority to regulate the use and occupancy of said Forest Reserve and the cutting, collecting and removing of timber and other forest products therein in accordance with the forest laws and regulations.1aшphi1 The parcels of public domain are shown and more particularly described on the attached Bureau of Forestry Map L.C.-2487 (5 Sheets), comprising the Timber Land of the aforementioned Zamboanga del Norte Land Classification Project Nos. 16-I and 26-D and Zamboanga del Sur, Land Classification Project Nos. 10-J, 13-M, 19-G, 21-P and 27-I, containing an area of FIFTY THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY EIGHT (50,178) HECTARES, more or less. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
