DECLARING MONDAY, MAY 2, 1966, AS ABAD SANTOS MEMORIAL DAY.

WHEREAS, Monday, May 2, 1966, marks the twenty-fourth anniversary of the martyrdom of the late Chief Justice Jose Abad Santos; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper to render honor and homage to the late Chief Justice whose exemplary patriotism is a source of inspiration to our people;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Monday, May 2, 1966, as “Abad Santos Memorial Day”.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
