EXCLUDING FROM THE OPERATION OF PROCLAMATION NO. 24 DATED DECEMBER 1, 1945 WHICH ESTABLISHED THE BATAAN NATIONAL PARK RESERVATION SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF HERMOSA, ORANI, SAMAL, ABUCAY, BALANGA, PILAR, BAGAC, AND MORON, PROVINCE OF BATAAN, AND IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SUBIC, PROVINCE OF ZAMBALES, A CERTAIN PORTION OF THE LAND EMBRACED THEREIN SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PILAR, PROVINCE OF BATAAN, AND RESERVING THE SAME FOR NATIONAL SHRINE PURPOSES.
Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the authority vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby exclude from the operation of Proclamation No. 24, dated December 1, 1945 which established the Bataan National Park Reservation situated in the municipalities of Hermosa, Orani, Samal, Abucay, Balanga, Pilar, Bagac, and Moron, Province of Bataan, and in the municipality of Subic, province of Zambales, a certain portion of the land embraced therein situated in the municipality of Pilar, province of Bataan, and reserve the same for national shrine purposes under the administration of the National Shrine Commission, subject to private rights, if any there be, and to future survey, which portion is more particularly described as follows:

A PARCEL OF LAND (the proposed site of MT. SAMAT NATIONAL SHRINE), situated in the Municipality of Pilar, Province of Bataan.
Bounded on the NORTH, by Alienable & Disposable Land; on the EAST and SOUTHEAST, by Tala River and Mariveles Military Reservation; on the SOUTHWEST, by Mariveles Military Reservation; and on the WEST, by Pantigan River.
