[ Proclamation No. 112, October 25, 1966 ]

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 26, 1966, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY FOR THE MUNICIPALITY OF LOS BAŅOS, PROVINCE OF LAGUNA.

WHEREAS, the President of the United States, Lyndon B. Johnson, will visit the International Rice Research Institute, U.P., College of Agriculture and the U.P., College of Forestry located in Los Baņos, Laguna on October 26, 1966;

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of Los Baņos be given full opportunity to welcome President Johnson;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Wednesday, October 26, 1966, as a special public holiday in the Municipality of Los Baņos, Province of Laguna.
