[ Proclamation No. 111, October 14, 1966 ]

DECLARING WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 19, 1966, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF BACOLOD.

WHEREAS, the twenty-eighth anniversary of the organization of the City of Bacolod falls on October 19, 1966; and

WHEREAS, the people of said city request that they be given full opportunity to celebrate the event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Wednesday, October 19, 1966, as a special public holiday in the City of Bacolod.
