[ Proclamation No. 108, October 10, 1966 ]

DESIGNATING THE PERIOD FROM OCTOBER 15 TO DECEMBER 31, 1966, FOR THE EDUCATIONAL AND RESEARCH FUND CAMPAIGN OF THE PHILIPPINE MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION OF THE PHILIPPINES, INC. (PMHA).

WHEREAS, the Philippine Mental Health Association, Inc. in its almost two decades of existence has demonstrated the value and importance of its services in the promotion of good mental health and in the preventive-curative and rehabilitative fields of mental illness;

WHEREAS, the Association desires to establish a Mental Health Research Center for Emotionally Disturbed Children to carry out a much-needed residential program for the care, treatment and rehabilitation of children with severe emotional disturbance and to further intensify its educational work for better mental health; and

WHEREAS, the Association needs funds to carry out these objectives;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby designate the period from October 15 to December 31, 1966, as the period for the educational and research fund campaign of the PHMA. I call upon all government officials, employees, citizens and residents to assist in this campaign and to give it their whole-hearted support.
