MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 506, December 4, 1965 ] RESERVING FOR BUILDING SITE PURPOSES OF THE ABACA DEVELOPMENT BOARD A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN SITUATED IN TACLOBAN CITY. Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the authority vested in me by law, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for building site purposes, under the administration of the Abaca Development Board, subject to private rights, if any there be, a certain parcel of land of the public domain situated in Tacloban City and more particularly described as follows: Lot “1-2”, Psd-42973 Amd. (Abaca Development Board) A parcel of land (Lot “1-2” of the amendment plan Psd-42973 Amd., being a portion of Lot “1-2” of plan Psd-42973, L.R.C. Record No.——-), situated in the City of Tacloban, Island of Leyte. Bounded on the NE., along line 1-2, by Lot “1-3” of the amendment plan; on the SE., along lines 2-3-4-5, by Lot “I-4” of the amendment plan; on the SW., along line 5-6, by Lot “I-1” of plan Psd-42973; and on the W., along line 6-1, by Lot “1-4” of the amendment plan. Beginning at a point marked “1” on plan, being N. 81 deg. 02 min. E., 339.70 m. from B.L.L.M. 1, Mp. of Tacloban, thence S. 62 deg. 13 min. E., 200.31 meters to point 2; thence S. 16 deg. 27 min. E., 80.59 meters to point 3; thence S. 33 deg. 40 min. W., 36.20 meters to point 4; thence S. 32 deg. 01 min. W., 9.56 meters to point 5; thence N. 36 deg. 06 min. W., 231.50 meters to point 6; thence N. 18 deg. 07 min. E. 23.00 meters to the point of beginning; containing an area of Fifteen thousand one hundred sixty-six (15,166) square meters. All points referred to are indicated on the plan and marked on the ground as follows: points 1, 2, 4 and 5, by B.L. Cyl. Conc. Mons.; point 3, by Cross on Rock; and point 6, by Old Point; bearings true; date of original survey, Jan. 17, 1912, that of the amendment survey.
