MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 476, October 19, 1965 ] DECLARING TUESDAY, OCTOBER 19, 1965 AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF BACOLOD. WHEREAS, the twenty-seventh anniversary of the creation of the City of Bacolod falls on October 19, 1965; and WHEREAS, the people of said city desire that they be afforded ample opportunity to celebrate the event with appropriate ceremonies; NOW, THEREFORE, I, DIOSDADO MACAPAGAL, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Tuesday, October 19, 1965, as a special public holiday m the City of Bacolod.
